    Here are three tips to ensure a successful winter photo shoot:
    1. If you take photos while it is snowing,  protect your camera by covering it with a plastic bag, leaving an opening for the lens and viewfinder. Rubber bands work well to hold the plastic in place.
    2. Should you get snow on your lens, be sure to brush it off with a camera brush. Don’t blow on it. This can cause condensation which will freeze on your lens.
    3. Don’t exhale on your viewfinder. Cover your nose and mouth with your jacket collar or wear a face mask. This will prevent the condensation from your breath from icing over the back of the camera and your viewfinder.
